2021 Reading Challenge

By February 25, 2021 September 28th, 2021 No Comments

It’s that time of year again! What time? Time for a fun City-wide Literacy challenge!

This year we’re doing a 21 day Reading Challenge. The goal of the reading challenge is to help you build a reading habit, however small or big, it’s up to you!

All ages are welcome to join.

You choose your reading goal, whether it’s 3 pages, 5 minutes of reading, or maybe even 10 minutes of listening to a podcast or audiobook.

The Reading Challenge runs from March 1st – March 21st. It’s super easy to enter. Keep track of your reading either using one of our printable trackers (found here) your own piece of paper, or even keep a note of it in your phone.

At the end, tell us how many days you have read. You can do this by sending us a picture, a text, an email or even fill out our online form.

We’ll then put you into a draw to win prizes!

All the details can be found on our 2021 Reading Challenge page here.

During the challenge don’t forget to visit our new StoryWalk® locations which will be running from March 6th -21st. StoryWalk® is a fun and innovative way to combine outdoor activity and reading for families and the young at heart. You can read all about it here.

We hope you join our challenge. Feel free to give us a follow on Instagram or Facebook and tag us during the challenge! Share with us what you’re reading, what you want to read, your favourite reading spot or anything else you can think of.
